Pricing Plans Consumer Applications
Overview
The above pricing plans are applicable for consumer applications that are distributed by Licensee to private application users via the public Apple iTunes applications store or the public Android Market.
Development License
Our free development license offers fully functioning versions of our SDK for both the iPhone and Android platforms. You can use them to develop and test your apps. Development licenses can be activated on 10 devices and expire 3 months after purchase. The development version of our SDK scans 500 barcodes per device.

FREE Pricing Plan
The FREE and ad-supported pricing plan gives developers with limited budgets access to our advanced barcode scanning technology free of charge . The FREE pricing plan requires that you integrate the Scandit ScanAds framework, which will display ad content relevant to the products scanned by the user. The advertising is designed to appear as additional content and to offer real added value in conjunction with the features of the app. Examples include coupons and special offers related to a consumer’s product interests and location.

STANDARD Pricing Plan
For the STANDARD pricing plan, we distinguish free and paid consumer mobile apps.
Free Consumer Apps
Before the launch of an application incorporating the SDK, you need to purchase a license package for at least 25,000 devices at a price of USD 0.10 per activated device. Subsequently, you can buy larger license packages at volume license discounts as summarized in the table below.

Paid Consumer Applications
This pricing is valid for paid consumer applications that are distributed by Licensee to private application end users via the public Apple iTunes applications store or the public Android Market.

The upfront fee is treated as a running credit against which subsequent activations are counted until it expires.

B2B and Enterprise Applications
To use our Scandit SDK for a B2B application (e.g., an application distributed to professional users through the public Apple iTunes application store) or an enterprise application (e.g., as a replacement for a handheld scanner for use within your organisation), you require a B2B or an enterprise license.
