In mid-January, Scandit joined more than 35,000 attendees and close to 500 exhibitors at the National Retail Federation (NRF) 106th Annual Convention & Expo in New York City. Most often simply referred to as “The Big Show,” every year the event brings together retail industry professionals and technology vendors from around the globe.

For three busy days, the Scandit booth served as a hub of activity. Hundreds of attendees visited our booth to discuss products with Scandit representatives, watch explanatory videos and view live demonstrations of our mobile data NRF 2017 no crowdcapture technology in action.

The booth included replicas of a fully-stocked grocery store shelf and warehouse shelf. Attendees were able to see live demonstrations of how Scandit mobile data capture technology streamlines common retail use cases such as stock taking, proof of delivery, picking, receiving, order entry and shipping.

Other popular demonstrations and displays at the Scandit NRF booth included:

A “rotator” that showed off just how fast and consistently our barcode scanner reads a code.

This provides retail, manufacturing and supply chain enterprises with the speed and performance necessary to replace dedicated barcode scanners and mobile computers with more flexible and cost-effective mobile devices such as smartphones, tablets and wearables.
