Here’s a special Christmas poem for your enjoyment:

‘Twas the scan before Christmas, when all through the house
Not a barcode was stirring, not even a mouse;
The stockings were hung by the chimney with care,
In hopes that the Scandit Bandit soon would be there;
The children were nestled all snug in their beds,
While visions of smartphones danced in their heads;
And mamma in her ‘kerchief, and I in my cap,
had just scanned all the items, using our new shopping app,
When out  in the app ecosystem there arose such a clatter,
so I downloaded the SDK, to see what’s the matter.
