Scandit to Exhibit at Euroshop in Düsseldorf, Germany

We’re very excited to announce our participation in the upcoming Euroshop 2014 conference taking place on February 16th-20th in Düsseldorf, Germany.  The conference represents one of the largest international gatherings of retailers and retail technology providers.

Scandit CEO Samuel Mueller will give a talk titled “Mobilizing Data Capture for Omnichannel Retail Success,” on Tuesday February 18th from 2:35pm to 3:00pm. The talk will explore how software-based barcode scanning, mobile OCR and data capture technologies combined with mobile capabilities such as geofencing and push notifications are enabling more cost-effective and productive logistics and inventory management processes. This will include an overview of how retailers can extend their business processes to include their customers via mobile marketing, mobile ordering and procurement, at-home and in-store loyalty and mobile self-checkout. Samuel will also discuss how the low total-cost-of-ownership advantages of smartphones, tablets and wearable devices along with trends such as BYOD and the consumerization of IT have turned mobility into a cornerstone of omnichannel retail success.
