We’re excited to join more than 500 hackers and many of the leading enterprises from around Europe to create innovative web, mobile and desktop applications during a 40 hour non-stop hacking marathon in Zurich, Switzerland later this month.
HackZurich is Europe’s largest hackathon and an integral part of the yearly Digital Festival taking place from September 16-18. Our team will be on-site throughout the event, working with some of Switzerland’s top retailers Valora and Siroop to help hackers create futuristic shopping experiences and applications through the integration of powerful mobile technologies, such as our award-winning Barcode Scanner SDK.
If you’re a registered participants can stop by the Scandit booth to meet the team, relax in our lounge and take advantage of our enterprise-grade scanning software throughout the hackathon. Additionally, join us for our scheduled workshop, “Get Phygital”, where you can learn how to quickly build, deploy and manage enterprise-grade barcode scanning applications for retail environments. We’ll take a look at how you can use Google Glass, Microsoft HoloLens, the Raspberry Pi or an aerial drone in unison with our Barcode Scanner SDK to create futuristic shopping experiences for consumers and employees alike.
The future of retail applications is bright, and cutting-edge software and hardware is changing the customer and employee experience. However, the road to retail mobility is not easy to navigate. There are many exciting engineering challenges ahead of us as we continue to enhance our industry-leading mobile software and hardware. We’re excited to meet with some of Europe’s brightest hacking minds to discuss industry challenges and employment opportunities. Like many of the passionate hackers attending HackZurich 2016, Scandit shares the spirit of working together to build the next generation of disruptive enterprise software. If you are among those who share this vision, Scandit is the place to work on making those dreams into reality.
We’d like to encourage all registered attendees to stop by our booth and take part in the conversation as we try to tackle some of the toughest data capture use cases in the business and aid hackers in creating futuristic solutions to disrupt the retail industry.
