In May 2017, Scandit exhibited at the Retail Business Technology Expo (RBTE) 2017 conference for retail organizations held in London, UK. Scandit demonstrated a wide range of leading edge mobile data capture solutions that can help retailers understand and transform their operations.

One new mobile data capture capability Scandit highlighted at RBTE 2017 is MatrixScan. Available as an optional premium feature, MatrixScan enables users to locate, track and decode multiple barcodes at once and adds visual feedback in the user interface to indicate which barcodes have already been scanned. Learn more about MatrixScan.

Scandit representatives were available to explain how retail enterprises can use traditional mobile devices to lower costs and streamline operations supporting core industry use cases such as inventory management, proof of delivery, order picking and clienteling.

Booth visitors were able to view popular demonstrations including:

A rotator that showed off how fast and consistently our barcode scanner reads a code.

The recently released Scandit Case for iPod touch is the next-generation version of the Scandit Case and features improved materials that increase ruggedness and grip. The latest version of Scandit Flow for iOS and Android. This update includes significant improvements to our platform that make it easier for enterprises to quickly build, deploy and manage mobile data capture solutions for key barcode scanning workflows across the supply chain.

Our Barcode Scanner SDK. This provides retailers with the speed and performance necessary to replace dedicated barcode scanners and mobile computers with more flexible and cost-effective mobile devices such as smartphones, tablets and wearables. The result: equivalent or improved scanning performance on a smart device at a fraction of the total cost of ownership (TCO) of traditional scanners.
