Symbologies Supported by the Scandit SDK

Different applications use different barcode symbology. Consumer goods manufacturer use UPC12, EAN13 and their corresponding small size versions UPC-E and EAN8 almost exclusively. There are a few retailers that place their own barcodes on products and often use Code39 and ITF barcode symbologies. Supply chain applications often use the Code128 symbology, which are for example used to label logistical units with serial shipping container codes (SSCC). More recently, QR codes have also gained significant attention to link the virtual and physical world. The Scandit SDK supports all of the above barcode symbologies.
