Scandit Captains is our exclusive customer program designed to elevate, empower and educate technology leaders and innovators through their use of smart data capture. Membership of Scandit Captains is aimed at propelling you and your business through a range of collaboration, networking, and feedback opportunities.

You’ll always be in the know about what’s going on at Scandit. Depending on your interests, there are a variety of activities you can get involved in. From participating in roundtable discussions, thought leadership programs and exclusive events as a speaker or attendee, you’ll have opportunities to guide our roadmap, access to learning and networking with peers and Scandit leadership.

You can also showcase your expertise by partnering with us on marketing activities across media features, case studies, industry awards, and blogs, as well as the option to share references with analysts and industry peers.

You will also receive dedicated news and updates from Scandit, in advance, thereby keeping you at the cutting edge of developments for smart data capture.

Scandit Captains are actively encouraged to take part in the program and engage regularly. We will invite you to participate in activities as they arise and provide you with the opportunity to feedback on our product direction. However, what you decide to participate in is entirely at your own discretion.

Membership is by invitation only.  However, should you be interested in joining, please contact us via email captains@scandit.com.

For certain activities you choose to participate in such as advisory boards, or product feedback sessions, we may ask you to sign a confidentiality agreement in advance. If you would prefer to sign a confidentiality agreement before becoming a Scandit Captain, please discuss this with your Scandit representative or email captains@scandit.com.

No, a Scandit Captain does not officially represent Scandit.

Scandit Captains may share both personal views, and views on behalf of their company through a variety of channels such as content, media, events and social media. We encourage you to check with your employer first if you have any concerns.

Scandit Captains is designed to be a community based on trust and mutually beneficial outcomes. We will respect any information you share with us and keep it confidential unless otherwise agreed and ask that you do the same of other Captains and Scandit.

No, if your employer prohibits the receiving of gifts please just let us know and we will take this into account.

Any content (blogs, case studies, webinars etc.) that is generated as part of the Scandit Captains program will be approved by all associated parties before being shared publicly. Once approved, you, your employer and Scandit are entitled to use the content freely based on the agreement made.

Our collaboration opportunities will be customized based on your availability and interests. Everything we work on together will be approved by you or your organization before it gets published externally (with the exception of media or analyst activity).

We can liaise directly with your Marketing team or you based on your preferences and the permissions set by your organization. For everything we do, we’ll discuss exactly how we plan to use it so there are no surprises. And of course, in many cases, you’ll be able to share through your channels as well.

While the program is by invitation only, we always welcome new nominations to the program. If you have a colleague who you believe would be a good Captain, please let your Scandit representative know or email captains@scandit.com.
