Which barcode symbologies are supported?

Which ID formats are supported?

We support over 2,500 documents worldwide by capturing data from a variety of different sources on IDs, including PDF417 barcodes, Machine Readable Zones (MRZ), Visual Inspection Zones (VIZ) and identity photos. Scandit supports not just current but older versions of IDs – important, because an ID can be valid for up to 10 years. See the full list of supported documents .

What are the technical specifications and minimum requirements of the SDK?

Do I need an internet connection to scan?

Only test licenses require an internet connection during scanning. Our production licenses do not require a continuous internet connection.
