Part of the Scandit Smart Data Capture platform, MatrixScan Find provides an assisted search experience to improve efficiency and accuracy compared to manual methods. Frontline employees often struggle to find the items they need to pick or pack, especially among similar-looking items such as spices, cosmetics, shoe boxes, DIY items or generic brown boxes. Their work takes place in a time-pressured environment as they must deliver goods and services accurately for customers, while also managing changing levels of consumer demand. Through augmented reality overlays, MatrixScan Find visually aids users to spot what they are looking for faster. MatrixScan Find is a pre-built interface, designed to simplify the implementation of innovative search experiences, using augmented reality functionality which is easily integrated into existing native applications with just a few lines of code. Searching for one item among many similar objects can be extremely frustrating, and result in multiple errors. For example, when packing up pre-ordered goods for dispatch, logistics and delivery workers must access staging areas filled with identical crates. Finding the right order is time-intensive and prone to error, irritating both for the employee and the waiting customer. MatrixScan Find shifts the tedious task of manual search to technology by providing clear on-screen guidance in an instant, empowering store associates to easily assist shoppers and improving customer satisfaction and loyalty.
MatrixScan Find can also be offered directly to customers via a retailer’s application, so shoppers can discover more about their preferred products through an engaging and intuitive augmented reality interface available on their own device.
